Fungi Partial

As part of a project for college, I made a 2.5D action-adventure game about a mushroom who's planet is under threat from an extraterrestrial acidic entity. The game revolves around you (a mushroom) who must ascend up to the top of a tree in order to initiate the reactor core fire up sequence and eradicate the threat for good. This game is currently not too mechanically advanced relying more on aesthetics for it's appeal, but perhaps in the future I could develop this game further.

Controls
Attack - X or Left Click
Move (Horizontal) - A/D or Left Arrow/Right Arrow
Move (Downward) - S or Down Arrow
Jump - W or Up Arrow or Space

Bugs
When you back out of the pause menu via the onscreen button, you won't be able to reopen it until you retry.

If you jump in sync with receiving damage, your velocity will be increased substantially.

The game is incomplete so:
UI unfinished
Enemy lacks melee attack
Game is perhaps shorter than intended
Map is narrower than anticipated
No heal station
Only horizontal attack
Only one enemy type
No obstacles
No puzzle element besides picking path to take
No sound effects for now, only music
